Myto ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Myto mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app. Myto is intended for users aged 16 and older.
Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Apple, we receive the identifiers Apple provides.
Fitness Data: We collect workout data you log in the app, including exercises, sets, reps, and weights. With your permission, we also read workout and activity data from Apple HealthKit.
Goals and Preferences: We store your fitness goals, training preferences, and coaching interactions to personalize your experience.
Device Information: We collect device tokens for push notifications when you opt in to receive them.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide personalized AI coaching and training plan recommendations

HealthKit Data
If you grant access, Myto reads workout and activity data from Apple HealthKit to enhance your coaching experience. We do not sell HealthKit data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties. HealthKit data is used solely to provide and improve fitness coaching within the app.
AI Processing
Your workout data and coaching conversations are processed by third-party AI services (Google Gemini) to generate personalized coaching responses and training plans. This data is sent securely and is not used by these providers to train their models.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform). We use encryption in transit (TLS) and follow industry-standard practices to protect your information. Authentication tokens are securely hashed before storage.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the app (cloud hosting, AI processing, push notification delivery) and as required by law.
Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon request, we will delete your personal data within 30 days.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
